Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences (HSHL) offers innovative and interdisciplinary degree programs in engineering, natural sciences, computer science, and economics. With 14 bachelor’s and ten master’s degree programs, HSHL currently has 6,100 students gaining practical qualifications for their future careers. The university’s two campuses in Hamm and Lippstadt feature state-of-the-art buildings and around 15,000 square meters of laboratory space for future-oriented teaching and research. For the team of around 400 people led by President Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kira Kastell and Chancellor Sandra Schlösser, tolerance, equal opportunities, and diversity form the basis for work that contributes to sustainable social development.

New, modern, communicative

Hamm Campus

In Hamm – on the spacious and green grounds of a former army hospital – new buildings for 2,500 students have been implemented.

Architecture and room program are orientated along the requirements of a modern education and research institute: the learning environments reflect the practice-oriented study paths; communication zones with a deliberately open layout are meeting points for teachers and students.

Hamm Campus is full of (animal) life! There is a beehive on campus with actual honey being produced by students and professors; falcons are nesting higher up in the buildings and small bats are residing in the trees.

Lippstadt Campus

Lippstadt is a town in North-Rhine Westfalia, Germany, with approximately 67,000 inhabitants. It is home to many big and medium sized companies – the German Mittelstand.
